1. About the Website & These Terms

The website at www.officeblinds.co.uk is operated by Office Blind Systems Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 05152526. Our registered office is 3rd Floor Marlborough House, 298 Regents Park Road, Finchley, London N3 2SZ. Contact us at sales@officeblinds.co.uk or through our Contact and Help Centre.

These terms govern access to and use of the website, its content, enquiry forms, estimator and downloadable materials. Please read them before using the site. If you do not agree, please stop using it. No provision removes a statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Orders, payments, manufacture, delivery and installation are governed by our separate Terms and Conditions of Trading and the agreed quotation or order confirmation. These website terms do not vary an existing supply contract.

2. Product Information & Online Estimates

We take reasonable care when preparing website information, but product ranges, availability and specifications can change. Images, colours and illustrations are guides only; screen settings and lighting can affect appearance. Confirm your selection against samples and the specification agreed for your order.

The online estimator provides an indicative price guide based on the details entered. It is not a fixed quotation or confirmation that a particular system is suitable for your premises. A final quotation may depend on measurements, access, materials, controls, installation and other project requirements.

An enquiry, survey request or estimate submission does not automatically create an order, reserve an installation date or establish a credit account. Any order is subject to the acceptance and payment arrangements in our trading terms.

Tell us about errors in website information before relying on it for a project. Any correction will not retrospectively change a contract already agreed. The disclaimers on this page do not remove obligations relating to descriptions or information forming part of an accepted contract.

3. Permitted Use

You may browse the website, make genuine enquiries and use the estimator for your own proposed purchase or on behalf of an organisation you are authorised to represent. You may save or print reasonable extracts and brochures for personal use or internal project planning, retaining copyright and attribution notices.

Normal use of assistive technologies and legitimate search-engine indexing of public pages is permitted, provided it does not bypass access controls, misuse forms or place an unreasonable burden on the service. Applicable crawling instructions and rate limits must be respected.

You must use the website lawfully and respect the rights, privacy and confidential information of others. You remain responsible for authorised activity undertaken through your devices or systems.

4. Prohibited & Disruptive Activity

You must not use the website to carry out or assist unlawful activity, impersonate another person or organisation, submit fraudulent orders or enquiries, or send threatening, harassing, defamatory or otherwise unlawful material.

You must not upload or transmit malware, ransomware, malicious scripts or files; attempt code injection or unauthorised access; obtain another person’s data; alter website records; or interfere with hosting, databases, forms, email systems or connected services.

You must not conduct denial-of-service attacks, repeatedly flood forms, send bulk automated enquiries, manipulate the estimator to exploit errors, or use bots or distributed requests to overload the website or disrupt our ability to respond to genuine customers.

You must not bypass authentication, CAPTCHAs, access restrictions, rate limits or other security controls. Automated vulnerability scans, penetration testing and exploitation require our prior written authorisation. Publicly accessible pages are not permission to access non-public systems or data.

You must not carry out systematic scraping, harvest personal information, or extract and republish substantial content or product data without permission, except where the activity is expressly permitted by law or an applicable licence. Unauthorised commercial reuse, including bulk collection for AI training or competing databases, is not licensed by these terms.

Unauthorised access or acts intended, or carried out recklessly, to impair computer operation may constitute offences under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Not every breach of these terms is a criminal offence; the applicable law and facts determine this.

5. Copyright, Trade Marks & Other Rights

Website text, designs, photographs, graphics and other materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property rights where those rights subsist. They belong to us or the relevant rights holders. Trade marks and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.

Except for the uses allowed above, an applicable third-party licence or a statutory exception, you may not reproduce, alter, sell, republish or commercially exploit protected material without the relevant permission. Database rights may also protect qualifying collections of material against unauthorised extraction or reuse.

You must not use our logo, name or content to imply endorsement, affiliation or authorship where none exists, or create a misleading imitation of our website. Rights that the law does not allow to be restricted by contract are unaffected.

6. Enquiry Forms, Photographs & Submitted Information

Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and only submit material you are entitled to share. If you act for a business or another person, you must have authority to make the enquiry and disclose the information supplied.

Photographs should focus on windows, blinds and relevant access areas. Avoid including unnecessary personal information, confidential documents, payment-card details or sensitive information about other people.

You retain rights in your submitted material. By submitting it, you permit us and service providers acting on our behalf to use, store and reproduce it only as reasonably necessary to handle your enquiry, assess the project, perform an agreed contract and administer the service, in accordance with our Privacy Notice and applicable law.

Submission does not give us unrestricted rights to publish your photographs, waive your moral rights or use your material for unrelated advertising. Separate permission will be sought where appropriate for publicity or marketing use.

We may reject malicious files, remove inappropriate material or decline abusive submissions. An automated receipt confirms submission, not acceptance of an order. If a genuine submission fails, contact us using the published contact details.

7. Privacy, Cookies & Applicable Data Protection Law

Our Privacy and Cookie Policy explains how personal information is handled, the technologies used on the site and how to exercise privacy rights or raise a concern. These website terms are not a substitute for that notice.

Relevant UK rules include the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended, including amendments brought into force under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. Applicable EU-derived rules that remain part of UK law continue to apply in their current UK form.

The EU GDPR or other overseas mandatory rules may also apply where their territorial requirements are met. These terms do not assume that every EU rule applies merely because the website can be accessed from another country.

Browsing the website or agreeing to these terms does not, by itself, give consent to optional cookies, advertising, unrelated marketing or every use of personal information. Where consent is required, it must be obtained separately. Cookie choices can be managed through the website’s cookie controls.

Privacy complaints can be sent through our Contact and Help Centre or to sales@officeblinds.co.uk. We will handle them under applicable data protection requirements. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office or another competent regulator where applicable.

8. Availability, Security & Enforcement

We aim to keep the site available and take reasonable care over its operation, but do not promise uninterrupted access or that every transmission will be free of errors or harmful material. Maintenance, faults, hosting issues and security incidents may affect availability. Use appropriate security precautions on your own devices.

To protect the service, we may apply proportionate security measures, restrict abusive traffic, block malicious submissions, suspend affected functions or deny access where reasonably necessary to address a suspected breach or security risk. These terms describe measures we may take; they do not guarantee that any particular control is deployed.

We may preserve relevant technical records, investigate incidents and, where lawful and appropriate, share evidence with hosting providers, professional advisers or law-enforcement authorities. Personal information will be handled lawfully, rather than treated as unrestricted incident data.

We reserve the right to seek injunctions and compensation for losses legally recoverable from misuse. No automatic fine, unlimited indemnity or penalty is imposed merely by visiting the website.

If you discover a suspected vulnerability, report it privately to sales@officeblinds.co.uk with sufficient information for us to investigate. Do not access other people’s information, exploit the issue or disrupt the service. Reporting a vulnerability does not itself authorise testing or exploitation.

9. Links & Third-Party Services

You may link to a public page fairly and lawfully, without implying endorsement or misrepresenting our business. You must not frame or reproduce our website in a misleading way or use our logo without permission. We may ask for a misleading or abusive link to be removed.

External websites and services, including payment providers, have their own terms and privacy notices. A link is provided for convenience and does not transfer control of that service to us or imply endorsement of all its content. Our responsibility for our own acts and any mandatory legal obligations remains unaffected.

10. Liability & Statutory Rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

For business users, subject to the above and any applicable requirement of reasonableness, we exclude liability arising solely from website use for loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or anticipated savings, and for indirect or consequential loss. Supply contracts remain governed by the separate trading terms.

For consumers, exclusions apply only so far as permitted by law and do not remove responsibility for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of a legal duty. These terms do not exclude mandatory data-protection rights or remedies.

Contact us promptly about a website fault or concern so we can investigate. A complaint about goods or installation should be made under the trading terms rather than treated as a website-use issue.

11. Changes, Governing Law & Contact

We may update these website terms for future use and will display the revision date. Changes do not retrospectively alter an accepted supply contract or remove rights already accrued. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply so far as they can lawfully do so.

English law governs these terms. Business users agree to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory right to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction. A choice of English law does not remove protections that must apply by law.
